Christy McGill, Producer
Christy McGill is a versatile film professional, serving as a producer, writer, story consultant, and distribution advisor. Along with “PASANG: In the Shadow of Everest,” she also produced the award-winning “Ai Weiwei: Yours Truly,” (First Run Features; Journeyman Pictures) chronicling the dissident artist Ai Weiwei’s monumental installation on Alcatraz honoring prisoners of conscience worldwide. She produced the multi-award-winning documentary feature “Serenade for Haiti” (director, Owsley Brown, 2016), and is working on the distribution for Samantha Campbell’s “The Secret Song” which has been picked up by PBS for North American broadcast in 2024. Documentaries Christy has been involved with are recognized with Peabody awards, Emmy nominations, and have been featured on PBS, HBO, and NETFLIX.

Cheryl Klauss is an ardent admirer of mountains, oceans, wildlife, and nature. Having retired from a distinguished career as a magazine photographer and professor of photography at Semester at Sea, Cheryl’s commitment to the craft remains unwavering, capturing compelling images daily. As a seasoned globetrotter and activist, she is deeply committed to various causes, particularly advocating for women in science and exploration. Over the past twenty-five years, she has cultivated meaningful connections with the Sherpa community establishing enduring relationships, including with Dawa Sherpa, and as a supporter of the film since its inception.
