Pasang: In the Shadow of Everest, is an Official Selection of the 27th Off Cinema Documentary Film Festival October 23rd-28th in Poland. Our film will be screening twice – at Grand Hall on Friday the 27th and on Sunday the 28th at Cinema Hall at the ZAMEK Culture Centre in Poznań.
“What are mountains for us humans? What do they give us and take away from us? Why do we go to the highest peaks, to the underworld and to the icy ends of the world? What are we actually looking for there – an escape, new experiences, a taste of success? How much are we willing to pay for our passion? How do we cope when we face failure, pain, tragedy, and loss? Viewers will be able to look for answers to these questions in films devoted to the subject of mountains. In front of us are six extraordinary stories about people who love extreme challenges and mountain nature more than life, ready to sacrifice a lot to achieve their goals. We will also get to know the stories of women who went for it with courage and determination.
